Programs

After-school Programs
KID Museum’s After-School Programs give kids ages 8 – 14 the chance to experiment, create and experience something new.  Multi-week sessions offered in fall and spring, typically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting at 4:30.

Maker Studio
KID’s new Maker Studio sessions offer training in Electronics, 3D Design & Print, Textiles, and Woodworking. Once you master a level, add a charm to your KID Museum keychain and get access to special tools and machinery.  Wednesdays and Fridays, 4:30 and 5:30.

Cultural Programming
KID celebrates cultures from around the world with special events, workshops, collaborations with international organizations, the World of Montgomery Festival and more.

Summer Camp
Where else can you build skateboards, robots, and water balloon zip-copters? Where else can you create movie-worthy special effects, develop spy gadgets, and design video games?  KID Museum camps make for a summer full of fun and invention.

Spring Break Camps
Explore a different interactive theme each day. Come for one or come for all!
Spring Break Daily Camps for ages 7 – 14. Kids will be grouped by age.

Mini-Makers
Fun, hands-on maker activities are led by experienced KID Museum educators for 4- and 5-year olds.  Friday afternoons.

Open Explore
KID Museum is open for Open Explore on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm.  Explore and experiment on your own – wind tubes, build out of the box, animation, coding, and more!  Activities vary each day. All ages.

School’s Out, KID’s Open!
Build, explore, and create cool stuff on days off from school.  Offerings and scheduling vary; and kids are grouped by age.
