Middle School Maker Night

Enjoy a night out at KID created just for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders!

Hang out with fellow middle schoolers from across the DMV and try a range of hands-on maker activities. We’ll open up the entire museum just for you, giving you the space to get creative, collaborate, and have fun your way. From coding and robotics to design challenges and tool-based projects, these nights are the perfect time to invent, build, and explore.

Tickets are $20 per person. We also offer scholarships! Fill out our Access For Every Maker form to learn more.

Why does my ticket show a different time from my friend's ticket?

We’ve staggered entry times for Middle School Maker Night to avoid a wait at check in. If you don’t see tickets for the same time as someone you’re coming with, reach out to us and we’ll make it work.

Will there be food?

Yes! Enjoy complimentary pizza, snacks, and drinks.

What should I wear?

Our recommendations:

  • Clothes that can get messy
  • Close-toed shoes
  • Hair ties for long hair
  • Pockets — we’d prefer you to leave bags and backpacks at home, please!

How do I get there?

KID Museum will not dismiss your child to anyone other than those adults designated on your purchase form no exceptions! All adults picking up children must show ID before they are able to leave. You must notify KID of any changes to the pick-up plans in writing.
