KID Museum is our region’s pioneering experiential museum and educational makerspace. We foster the “Mind of a Maker” — a worldview guided by curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and compassion — in kids and youth, empowering them to become the next generation of problem-solvers and changemakers.

Our dedicated staff designs and delivers programming to schools and families, fosters and develops community partnerships, and supports the many moving pieces of a rapidly growing organization.

SUMMER OF IMPACT

This summer, kids of all ages were back in person–making, inventing, and collaborating in summer camps, and in KID Museum programs delivered through MCPS and DCPS summer schools, Montgomery County camps and libraries, and community organizations. They will start the new school year strong, engaged and ready to dive in.
