Featuring student projects from KID’s Invention Programs, hands-on challenges and activities, and exhibitions from leading corporations, this event is sure to bring out the innovative spirit in everyone.

Come together with students, families, educators, corporations, entrepreneurs, elected officials, and local businesses to celebrate the innovators of today and tomorrow!

What is the Invent the Future Challenge?

Invent the Future is one of the DC Metro region’s largest maker challenges integrating science, technology, engineering, and design.

Through the process of designing their own inventions, students learn to innovate, solve problems, gain confidence, and work with others — all skills for future success.
