Homeschooling Resources

We know that traditional schooling doesn’t work for everyone—but we also know how hard it can be to replace that structure on your own.

From quick at-home activities to deep learning alongside likeminded families, we’re ready to support you and ensure that your students thrive in whatever learning environment works best for them.

2025-2026 School Year
All of the schedules and booking information for our Homeschool Half-Days, After-School classes, and Educator Professional Development sessions will be announced in August.

Homeschool Half-Days

We’ve redesigned our signature Explorer Field Trips to better serve students who are learning outside of traditional schools. Led by KID’s expert Maker Educators, these 4-hour sessions are created to be flexible and dynamic enough to engage learners from 4 through 14*. Build new skills, tackle inventive design challenges, and connect with other homeschool families within the DMV.

Parents or guardians must attend along with their students.

*Approximately K-8th grade.
