Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a…twirling winged object? That may have been the question asked on Sunday, June 21st at KID at the Slingshot Workshop. Participants were able to design and build their very own slingshot out of duct tape, popsicle sticks, balloons and paper clips. The creations were colorful and creative.

Once kids finished their creations, they journeyed outside to try them out. Various miscellaneous objects were found being flung from each home-made slingshot on the KID Museum lawn. It was certainly an unexpected (yet exciting) sight for onlookers.
