They came in with their grandparents, their children, their aunts, uncles and cousins. Fortified with Thanksgiving turkey and pumpkin pie, they were ready to take on the Family Kite Building Challenge at KID Museum.
Five family groups faced off, armed with large black trash bags, ribbon and string. With guidance from the master builders of Wings Over Washington, they got to work on the ultimate kite building challenge.

But the real test came when the teams took it outside. It was a nail biting moment as the kites were held up to the sky and… Every one of them took flight!
