Access for Every Maker: We are dedicated to expanding access to all makers by providing free and reduced-cost ways to participate in our programming. Please use this form to reach out if you are an educator, a member of the military, or if program fees pose a financial hardship, and we’ll ensure you and your family can participate.
As a Teen Innovator, you will:
- Meet once a week to develop valuable skills and work on individual and group projects in KID’s woodshop, fabrication lab, electronics studio, technology lab, and textiles studio
- Learn from industry professionals and explore college and career opportunities in both STEM and non-STEM fields
- Take part in a one-day intensive build at the end of the semester
- Create and facilitate programming for peers and KID Museum visitors
- Showcase final projects at KID’s Sunday Museum hours and special events
- Build skills in Arduino or TinkerCAD, with the option to earn a micro-credential
