Small changes can have big impact on the world!
“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”
― Mother Teresa
Like water after you throw a stone, small actions you take can ripple through those around you. One person influences their friends and family, who then inspire the entire community. Like-minded communities can come together to change our entire society.
Anyone can make the world a better place by taking action and sharing their ideas with those around them – even kids! How will you make the world a better place?
Even small acts of kindness make the world better. Check it out!
imagine
Consider how you want to change the world, and make a pledge to spark change in your school, family, or community and create a project that shares that promise with others.
Ask yourself these questions to create your pledge:
- What are you not okay with?
- What do you have?
- What can we do about it?

Once your changemaker pledge is written, use your maker skills to create something that will help you share your pledge with your friends, family, and community. You could make posters, flyers, a video, or a digital animation to share your ideas.
If you’re interested in creating a digital animation, consider using Scratch, a free block programming language you can use online. Check out these videos to help you get started:
Be sure to share your completed changemaker pledge project with us! Send pictures or files to socialmedia@kid-museum.org.
