During this global health and financial crisis, the KID Museum team has embodied the same “Mind of a Maker” philosophy that we help our kids and youth develop. Read about how we are making the most of uncertain times.

We are continuing to provide our signature, hands-on learning through a variety of new, virtual programs — from free, maker activities sent to inboxes weekly, to educator-led virtual classes and workshops. At the same time, our maker educators are using their skills to respond to current health equipment shortages.

Make it! DIY

Sent directly to parents’ inboxes, Make It! provides five, fun maker activities that kids can do at home using household materials, with a different theme each week.

Making PPE

Our maker educators have brought KID Museum’s 3D printers home and are putting them to good use making much-needed protective face shields for healthcare workers. Thank you, Ram, Cori, Maya, and Warren! If you have access to a 3D printer, you can help too.
