Let’s weather the storm of fun together with NOAA Meteorologist Isha Renta, a weather whiz who knew her forecast future since she was 8! She launches weather balloons, checks data, and helps keep us safe by predicting rain and shine. Learn about cool weather tools like the anemometer and make your own to see how much wind it can handle.
11 AM – 1 PM: Meet Isha by the coat closet to learn about her career as a meteorologist.
2 PM – 4 PM: Bomba with Isha in Maker Lounge! Join her for a read-a-loud of her new bilingual book about Bomba, a genre of Puerto Rican music and dance where songs are stories.
