KID Museum’s first Punk Rock Day on May 31 was a huge success!  Check back for updates on other special events like this one.

Description and Schedule for Punk Rock Day:
Punk’s not dead! Be punk for a day. Rock out to live performances by local kid punk bands. Create punk fashion, fanzines, non-conformist buttons, album covers and more!
Noon – 2:00 Fashion.  Create punk fashion using stencils, rips and tears, safety pins, studs, and customized buttons, and design patches.
2:00 – 3:00 Punk Music from local bands Selfish Sunday, Lucid Dream, and ORNJ.
3:00 – 5:00 Graphic Arts.
Make a punk album cover with band name and song titles using collage, cardboard, markers and create buttons.

We are a kickass all girl rock (folk indie) band based in Silver Spring, MD. featuring Grace Sperber-Whyte Mildred Devereaux Mariam Jiffar and Arielle Gottlieb.

Lucid Dream started playing together in January 2015. Zofia is the lead singer. Dilan is on guitar. Alek plays keyboard, and Angela is the drummer. They are all students at Bach to Rock in Gaithersburg.
