What will you make this winter break? Try out one camp or sign up for all four days of hands-on exploration and discovery at KID Museum. Makers can become a Spy KID, explore the deep sea, create their own video game, and let their imagination soar!

Monday, December 27
2nd – 4th Grade | Spy KIDs
Join the elite division of Spy KIDs – make your own tech gadgets, write and crack secret codes, and learn the ins and outs of maker espionage.
5th – 7th Grade | Maker Mixup
Turn maker projects on their heads with wacky materials and unconventional design challenges. What if we made our clothing out of cardboard or furniture out of fabric? Get creative with different building materials and learn some fun fabrication techniques.
Tuesday, December 28
2nd – 4th Grade | Deep Sea Explorers
Step into the shoes of a deep sea explorer, creating deep water submarines, searching for shipwrecked treasure, and creating mysterious ocean creatures, all while practicing maker skills such as engineering design, circuits, and cardboard fabrication.
5th – 7th Grade | Gamer Palooza
Game on! Conceptualize and code your own video game, then work as a team to create own game controllers. It’ll be an arcade extravaganza!
Wednesday, December 29
2nd – 4th Grade | Glow
Spend the day celebrating the longest nights of the year. Create imaginative projects that glow, light up, or transform in the dark – and learn some cool maker skills along the way!
5th – 7th Grade | The Ultimate Maker Challenge
Come along on a wacky problem-solving adventure! Challenge your engineering skills while racing other teams through a maze of maker challenges, where your results will decide your next obstacle and every team is on a different path.

Let the countdown to 2022 begin! Join us to ring in the new year with creativity and innovation. Make festive gear and decorations, learn new maker skills, and help engineer our KID NYE countdown celebration.
