KID Museum aspires to create a “next generation” museum — a dynamic hub for informal learning that empowers youth to become creative, confident and compassionate innovators of the future.

We define our work around three core objectives:

(1) Deliver high-quality youth programs designed to build skills and interest in STEM, arts and cultural learning through maker-based activities.
(2) Serve as a catalyst for change in the education system.
(3) Provide a unique community gathering place that promotes intergenerational learning and global citizenship.

Today, KID Museum serves more than 55,000 people annually in our prototype space, offering programs in a range of areas including: 3D design, electronics, coding, robotics, woodshop, textiles, digital media and more.

Join us as we grow closer to securing a permanent home and achieving our goal of becoming a world-class museum serving the Washington DC metro area.

KID Museum seeks to serve all members of our community. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity equity and inclusion.
