KID Museum is open to the public on Saturdays with workshops in our Maker Studios and over a dozen Open Explore activities. Each weekend offers something new, providing unique hands-on learning experiences designed and facilitated by our professional Maker Educators and a team of Apprentices.
KID City: Get creative with hands-on engineering challenges, cardboard construction, and circuit making. And get in “on the ground floor” as we start to design our exhibit for FutureFest.
No registration required, drop in anytime between 10am – 5pm.

Fab Lab: 3D Printed Nametags | 10:30 am | Rising 1st-2nd graders
Come learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling and create your own 3D name tag in Doodle3D. Objects will be printed at the museum after the workshop, and can be picked up later. REGISTER
Electronics: Airplane Launcher | 12:30pm | Rising 3rd-5th graders
Learn the basics of circuitry and electronics to build your own motorized paper airplane launcher. Once you have constructed your launcher, build and test different airplane designs. REGISTER
