KID Museum presents Spotlight Days–a new twist on our weekend Open Explore experience. Each Spotlight Day will focus on one of our four Maker Studios: Woodshop, Electronics, Fab Lab (digital fabrication), and Textiles. As part of the general admission fee, visitors can drop in anytime for…
– Open Explore: Design and build unique projects to bring home.
– Tool Exploration: Learn about the tools of trade while watching demonstrations of specialized tools and technology.
– Meet the Expert: Talk to local professionals about how they use maker tools and technology in their daily work.
Activities are offered for all experience levels. Beginners can explore their interests, and more advanced makers can dive deeper and expand their skills. Workshops will also be offered for grades K-1, 2-4, and 5-7 (additional fees apply; registration required).
KID Museum is open to the public on the weekend with workshops in our Maker Studios, Open Build time, and over a dozen Open Explore activities. Each weekend offers something new, providing unique hands-on learning experiences designed and facilitated by our professional Maker Educators and a team of Apprentices.
No registration required, drop in anytime between 10am – 5pm.
