Most Likely to Succeed: Screening & Discussion

February 17, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

See the movie that’s been inspiring parents and educators across the country to think about what education means in the era of innovation.

Most Likely to Succeed,
a documentary by Greg Whiteley, examines the history of education in this country, revealing the shortcomings of the traditional education model in today’s innovative workplace. The film highlights High Tech High, a public charter school in San Diego that abandoned tests and compartmentalized subjects for a student-focused, project-based curriculum.

After the screening, join us for a lively discussion with local educators who are promoting creative approaches to learning and self-discovery:

Phyllis L. Fagell, Pyle Middle School
Lisa Gerhardt, Wheaton High School
Matthew Gould, Norwood School
Nic Ryba, Green Acres School
Joshua P. Starr, PDK International (moderator)
