Inventions can be fun, useful, innovative–or all three! This program introduces kids to the invention process in an inviting way–through the Japanese art of Chindōgu–inventing silly gadgets to solve everyday problems. Makers will develop skills in electronics and fabrication to create their own Chindōgu, and then move on to create more impactful inventions that benefit their community. The program will culminate with an Invention Convention where makers will showcase their silly and serious creations.
Class will not be held on October 9 or November 27.
