Black History Month at KID Museum

Throughout February, KID Museum celebrates leading Black #HistoryMakers whose contributions have transformed our world!

  • Come visit us on Sundays and see how our Tech Arena has been transformed to celebrate Black History Month. Learn about Jerry Lawson, the father of the video game cartridge, and apply your coding knowledge to build scratch games.
  • We also designed special workshops each Sunday inspired by Black inventors, artists, and changemakers, past and present.
  • Not able to come in for a visit in February? No problem! Join us in our Maker Playground Online and try our free, DIY maker projects inspired by Black History Month.
