Celebrating One-Year at our new innovation hub.

Over the past year at KID Museum, we have achieved great success thanks to the support from donors like you! From engaging 3,500 elementary and middle school students in deep Invention programs, to collaborating with 200 teachers in professional development, to implementing an expanded teen enrichment program, your contributions have helped shape the future success of thousands of youth in our region.

Over the past year we have:

  • More than doubled the number of visits to our site, nearly 26,000, people this year alone!
  • Expanded access for priority populations & strengthened K-8 curriculum/ teacher professional development.
  • Delivered teacher professional development in 3 cities (Dallas, Phoenix, LA).

But our work is incomplete. While our new home enables us to reach more people, there are still thousands of children in our area for whom this programming is out of reach.

Celebrate Educators!

What better way to celebrate a year of making than by putting the spotlight on the incredible people who make this work possible! Teacher Appreciation Week is May 8th-12th. Give the gift of KID on behalf of an incredible teacher.

Almost half of the tech jobs projected to come online by 2025 will go unfilled, resulting in a “tech supply gap”

The most effective way to address the race and gender gap is to start early, long before college

Black Americans and Latinos make up only 4% of the tech industry and women account for less than 30% of the STEM workforce

KID programs are designed to inspire future innovators.

Through our programs, 59% of youth reached are from underserved communities, 93% of students experienced joy in learning STEM concepts and 90% exhibited persistence.
