Innovation Exchange

Join us for inspiration and mentorship!

Middle schoolers, parents and educators are invited to KID Museum for Innovation Exchange sessions that will spark ideas and support Invent the Future Challenge work. Sessions begin with a presentation from an innovator, and then Challenge participants will be matched with mentors that we’ve selected from the local community.

Mentors provide feedback on ideas, assist in brainstorming new ideas, and help teams make progress on their designs. The focus is on coaching teams to effectively collaborate to develop new ideas, solve problems, and communicate their ideas to others, rather than providing specific technical support.

– All are welcome to attend just for the guest speaker.
– Challenge participants should register for the full session (click “Register”).
– Team coordinators and parents are welcome, but do not need to be present.
– Interested in volunteering as a mentor? Contact us: volunteer@kid-museum.org.
