Kids International Discovery Museum

Our mission is to cultivate “the 3Cs”: creativity, curiosity & compassion, through playful exploration of the world.

KID Museum’s mission is to inspire children to become innovative, empathetic global citizens of the future. Our world-class, interactive museum will focus on three core program areas: international culture and global connections; science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and art; and social responsibility and community service.

In today’s inter-connected, global economy, our children need to develop 21st century skills. Creative problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration are essential to their success. KID Museum aims to establish a new kind of experience for our children, focused on incubating the 21st century skills necessary for the next generation of innovative leaders.

We are rapidly turning our vision into a reality. Through our popular community events, we’ve become a presence in Montgomery County, offering families the chance to experience what we have to offer. These are the first steps towards building our permanent Montgomery County home—one where we hope to spark a passion for learning and an interest in making the world a better place.
